Named after the Norse god of mischief, the Loki kit tricks Bitmain X19 miners into hashing from any suitable DC power supply. Want to run your X19 rig from a 120V outlet? Use the Loki kit to make it possible and unlock new gen miner hash rates and efficiencies.

Using the Loki Kit to build a 120V modified miner ("Loki Rig") will require some DIY building and creativity. Check out the Loki Plebs Telegram group for ideas and support. You'll need a power supply that can run from 120V, at least one X19 hash board, a control board, an enclosure, and a way to keep everything cool. If running from a 120V standard outlet, be sure to keep the miner's power draw under 1400W to avoid overloading the circuit breaker. Refer to the Loki Kit User Manual for more details.

Important: There are 3 different Loki Kit variants. Selecting the correct variant for your miner depends on three factors: miner firmware, control board type, and hash board type. AC Infinity Cloudline Fans: Any 8-inch Cloudline fan should do, but if you're wanting to save a few sats and can tolerate a little more noise, consider purchasing the Cloudline Lite A8 model.
AC Infinity USB-C Adapter: If your AC Infinity fan doesn't have a USB-C connector, you will need this adapter from AC Infinity.
Fan Shrouds: A fan shroud is needed to connect the AC Infinity fan to the miner. There are several great options to choose from. You can buy from Fruition Designs (Fruits & Associates), Crypto Cloaks, Nakamoto Mining (use code "PPT" for $5 off), or even print your own.
Fan Extension Cables: You'll need 4 of these if you're planning to pair the Njord Cloudine board with a Braiins control board or an older Bitmain S9 miner.

FOR LOKI KIT

PSU: If you're planning on powering your miner from 120V AC, you'll need a compatible power supply. Bitmain's APW3++ and APW7 are good candidates.

Q: Will the Njord Cloudline board work with my miner?

A: The Njord Cloudline board was designed to work with any miner that uses the 4-pin PWM fan control protocol and has 4 identical horizonal, in-line fan ports. It has been tested and confirmed to work on the following Bitmain miners: T17, T17+ S17, S17+, S19, S19 Pro, S19j Pro, L7, KA3. Don't see your miner model on the list? Reach out! Q: What happens if the AC Infinity fan loses power or malfunctions?

A: The Njord Cloudline board is designed to detected if the AC Infinity fan has lost power and will send a signal to the control board. This will cause the miner to shut down with a fan error.

Q: Can I use the Njord Cloudline board with a cheaper fan?

A: The Njord Cloudline board was designed to work specifically with AC Infinity Cloudline fans. It will not work with other fans unless they follow the same EC motor control protocol and have the same USB-C connector. If you're looking to control a different fan type, consider using the Njord Protean board.
